“MOVERS AND SHAKERS"
As I was reading a word I felt the Lord say, “you are the movers and shakers!”
I have been reflecting upon the scripture in Hebrews where it says the Lord will shake the nation and what is not shaken is what will remain!
“At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.” This phrase, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of things that are shaken—that is, things that have been made—in order that the things that cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire.”
Hebrews 12:26-29 ESV
I then asked how are we the movers and shakers? He pointed me to Jeremiah 1.
“Now the word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.” Then I said, “Ah, Lord God! Behold, I do not know how to speak, for I am only a youth.” But the Lord said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am only a youth’; for to all to whom I send you, you shall go, and whatever I command you, you shall speak. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you to deliver you, declares the Lord.” Then the Lord put out his hand and touched my mouth. And the Lord said to me, “Behold, I have put my words in your mouth. See, I have set you this day over nations and over kingdoms, to pluck up and to break down, to destroy and to overthrow, to build and to plant.””
Jeremiah 1:4-10 ESV
This is going in and uprooting what must go and planting what must remain by the Word of the Lord. We cannot be the hands and feet of Jesus without action!
Everyday we choose what seed we are throwing out. Are we building something from our seed that needs shaken and uprooted or are we building something of lasting value and moving others toward the Kingdom??
He has put the words in our mouth to release His words that will shake nations and kingdoms.
“We are the movers and the shakers!”
It’s time to move out of complacency and shake off all that has held you captive and in fear! Shake off that fear, shake off that disappointment, shake off weariness and heaviness and get your hope up! Plant within you His Word, His Truth, His Assurance, His hope! For our God is faithful and He cannot fail! He is a consuming fire that desires to consume us!
You cannot be a mover and shaker until you first move and shake off what is holding you! Get up and shake loose all that must go so that only Christ remains!
You are needed to help others move and shake off the world! Start with you so you can bless and encourage those around you!
It’s time to shake off hell and move the Kingdom of God!
