“The Discerner of Hearts”
“Now when He was in Jerusalem at the Passover feast, many believed in His name [identifying themselves with Him] after seeing His signs (attesting miracles) which He was doing. But Jesus, for His part, did not entrust Himself to them, because He knew all people [and understood the superficiality and fickleness of human nature], and He did not need anyone to testify concerning man [and human nature], for He Himself knew what was in man [in their hearts—in the very core of their being].”
John 2:23-25 AMP
Think about this!
Many declare the name of Jesus but their hearts are far from Him! He knows each person and their true heart and intent. It’s easy to join in the hype of things when we are seeing the signs, wonders, and miracles and even are part of it. I believe the Lord is looking closely in this hour at what is happening behind closed doors and deep within the heart!
We don’t like this and even get tired of it being talked about, but if true repentance and heart transformation and cleansing has not happened and darkness is more evident than any kind of light, then Jesus will not entrust Himself to us! He doesn’t want our lip service and hype in front of people, He wants our heart and to commune with us when no one is watching!
Who are we behind closed doors? What’s the conversation at the tables?
I have been at tables where many have been discussed and then left that table and knew I was the topic. I want to feast upon His presence and Him alone!
The Lord detests much that has been going on and I believe He is fed up and cleaning house! I want to be on the right side of this cleansing, how about you?!
Narrow is the way and few find it! Are you the few? That is the remnant!
